Investment Committee Member
RAFT Advisory has been retained for an on-going role as an independent member of the Investment Committee for a Brisbane based Family Office.
In formulating the engagement, RAFT Advisory is responsible for oversight of the client's Investment Framework, including management of the investment strategy and decisions, and specifically adds a property and alternative asset class experience to the current investment team.
Wealth Management Business
RAFT Advisory was recently retained on a project basis by a prominent Brisbane based Wealth Management business.
The key element of the engagement was to assist our client to review, assess, develop and implement a new commercial offering for their business.
As a new business offering our client took the opportunity to engage RAFT Advisory as an independent consultant, rather than utilise their already busy team.
The key elements of the engagement were: Review and assess the current operation Co-ordinate engagement with a number of project participants (Legal, Tax, IT). Prepare a detailed business plan for the new commercial offering. Prepare appropriate governance and reporting structures.
Complete all relevant documentation, including adherence to AFSL requirements. Support execution and go-live by the client.
The project was a fantastic opportunity for RAFT Advisory and our client to deliver a material change to their ongoing business, and we thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity!
